Casino Volunteers Needed for March 2 and 3, 2019

Hello Bombers Family!

We need volunteers for our Casino coming up in March, 2019.

One Casino shift is equal to TWO Fundraising commitments!

This is an opportunity to complete your fundraising commitment before the season begins without ever working a Bingo!!

Please reply to Dawn with your desired position/day/shift (for example: Cashier/Sunday/Day Shift).

Your friends / family over age 18 are also welcome to volunteer for any of the shifts listed below.

Saturday, March 2:

Evening Shift 6:30PM - 3:30 AM

Sunday, March 3:

Evening Shift 6:30PM - 2:30 AM

Day Shift 11:15AM - 7:00 PM

Evening Shift 6:20PM - 3:20 AM

Cash Cage Positions (8 hour shifts day or evening)

Banker:  Accepts float and chip bank from facility, controls cashiers float, and sends chip fills/credits to table games.  These transaction are performed on the computer.

Cashier:  Exchanges chips for cash.  Individuals who feel comfortable counting out cash usually enjoy this position.  It is usually the busiest position.

Chip runner:  Opens and closes table games with the assistance of a pit boss, and delivers chip fills/credits to table games with a security guard.  (chip runner will not be have to be inside the cash cage)


Count Room Positions (4 hour shifts, 11PM - 3:30AM)

Count room Supervisor:  Operates on computer in count room, witnesses the count, and sends cash to safe or banker.

Sorter:  Opens boxes and sorts money.

Counter:  Runs money through the money counter and informs recorder of amounts.

Recorder:  Records totals of money counted on computer.

Amalgamator:  Runs money through counter, informs Count room Supervisor of toals and bundles the money.
